We’re proud to be a vibrant, volunteer-run space that serves the local area with a wide variety of events and facilities.
The hall is fully accessible, offers modern conveniences, and is available to hire for private or public use.

We are a registered charity (Charity Number: 304606) and are supported by a dedicated committee of trustees and community volunteers.

Our village hall is a friendly and welcoming space set in the heart of the countryside. It is a great place for local events, social activities, and community gatherings.
The hall can be used for meetings, celebrations, and clubs, offering a comfortable and flexible space for all ages. It brings people together and plays an important role in village life.
Where to find us

Directions from Bridgwater to Over Stowey Village Hall (TA5 1HA):

Start in Bridgwater
Head out of town towards the A39, following signs for Minehead/Quantocks.

Join the A39 westbound
Continue on the A39 for about 7 miles, passing through Cannington.

Turn left at the sign for Nether Stowey
At the Nether Stowey Bypass roundabout, turn left (signposted Nether Stowey).

Pass through Nether Stowey village
Go straight through the village, staying on Castle Street, which becomes St Mary Street.

Follow signs to Over Stowey
Just past the pub and village shop, look for a sign pointing left to Over Stowey and the Quantock Hills. Turn left here.

Arrive in Over Stowey
Follow the country lane for around 1.5 miles. As you enter Over Stowey, the Village Hall will be on your right, just before the church and recreation ground.
