Over Stowey Cricket Club
Over Stowey Cricket Club was founded in 1882 and remains an important part of village life, offering cricket for all ages and abilities.
The club currently runs both a 1st XI and 2nd XI, with both teams competing on Saturdays in the West Somerset Cricket League.
We also have a thriving youth section, with coaching sessions held every Tuesday evening for children aged 5 to 16. Our junior teams include Under 11s and Under 13s, who compete in the Taunton Youth League on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings.
Alongside league fixtures, the club also plays friendly matches throughout the season.
We are a welcoming and friendly club, always keen to hear from new members — whether you are an experienced player, new to cricket, or simply interested in supporting the club off the field.
